Stop Being so Bloody Nasty!

I think that I am just not getting the irony of some of these blogspots, or perhaps there’s no irony at all, perhaps these people really are Fascist bigots. Well I am sorry I do not tolerate things like this. I can’t being doing with it. It just does my tiny Northern head in. So, all you right wing Fascist bloggers I am putting you all in a detention. Have some compassion. Stop being so bloody nasty!

In fact it's this kind of arrogant public school boy nonsense that gives the Tory Party a bad name, and alienates people. So, STOP IT!

Hitch is not a Tory. But he is a northener BTW. I am not a fascist bigot. As a regular commenter at Hitch's blog I take grave offence at being depicted in such terms. I am a Conservative who believes that an unconstrained debate is the best way forward for the party and the country. It is not a Tory approach to unquestioningly accept and acquiesce in shoddy left-wing thinking. David Cameron recently included multiculturalism among divisive factors which made people feel ashamed of being British. DC has pointed to the way in which multiculturalism has become the main ideological weapon used by religious fundamentalists in minority communities to demand their absolute right to govern such communities - not only in the areas of the family and religion, but increasingly in other areas such as education.Dame Pauline Neville-Jones, the former diplomat who chairs the party's policy group on national and international security , said multiculturalism "has tended on the whole to emphasise differences between us rather than actually creating a framework in which difference flourishes".
The anti-thesis of multiculturalism is moral, religious, and cultural solidarity among the people of a nation. And that is a profoundly Conservative vision.
Don't you agree?

Yes, I do agree.

I think most sensible, honest politicians acknowledge that multiculturalism separates communities with divisive consequences. There's far too much emphasis on cultural individualism in our society. As a result of this certain communities are becoming more and more isolated, which is dangerous. There should be greater sense of unity between all faith groups, for the common good of this country. Basically, everything you have just said.
Thank you for the perspective.

PS
As for the underachievement of black boys - I am still trying to get my head round this. I think it's a process of osmosis.

God Bless.

I'm off home now - I've had enough. I thought he was a Tory. Actually, I am Jesus Christ.
